EPOKHE was born many years ago. It exists in the minds of a few young individuals who long for something different, something unique. EPOKHE spawns from a culture of homogeny and mundane ideas of what it is we as a consumer desire and delivers something that is more an extension of a lifestyle than it is a product.
EPOKHE is clean and minimalist. It is an eyewear brand inspired by well-constructed vintage shades but infused with a modern twist inspired by high fashion, while taking cues from industrial design and architecture.
EPOKHE will position itself within the surf market, as well as reaching into the broader streetwear-style retail and boutique stores. With a strong presence in the surf industry thanks to the EPOKHE founders’ reputation as surfers and filmmakers, EPOKHE will initially target the surf market, which allow for initial growth of the company. Then, by slowly pushing the brand throughout films, photography and creative projects EPOKHE will look to evolve into a more streetwear/urban/pop culture lifestyle brand. Surfing is just one chunk of the lifestyle. The brand is will then look to appeal to a much wider audience.
Jedidiah was founded in 2004 as a brand bridging the gap between fashion and philanthropy without sacrificing style or function. Each year Jedidiah teams up with a humanitarian non-profit to use apparel as the voice of the cause and raise money for good with the sale of each piece. Focused on clean and timeless silhouettes with classic details and attention to detail, the garments tell a story in themselves to compliment the humanitarian story told by the non-profit partners.
